Flushed with success

Stand Wood lakes

Visitors to Chatsworth sometimes notice the 'muddy' water in our visitor loos. The reason for this is that the water comes off the moors behind Chatsworth, and is the same rainwater that feeds into our lakes and supplies the waterworks, fire hydrants and all our visitor loos. It is therefore sometimes a bit cloudy, and has a slight odour, but it is an entirely safe, effective, and green way of providing this essential service to visitors.
