23 - 25 September 2016

Inspired by the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire’s passion for art, The Chatsworth Festival - Art Out Loud is a festival of talks by artists, curators and writers.

Following the success of 2015’s inaugural event, this year we have brought together an exciting new line-up of over 20 speakers. They include ceramicist and author, Edmund de Waal; Julia Peyton-Jones (The Serpentine Galleries); Maria Balshaw (The Whitworth Gallery); Peter Frankopan (author); garden designer, Dan Pearson and the Duke of Devonshire. All talks over the three-day festival take place in the house and garden.
