Fishing at Chatsworth

The Chatsworth Estate is able to offer 4 miles of double bank fly fishing on the Chatsworth Fishery running from Baslow through Chatsworth Park to Rowsley on the River Derwent. This offers some fantastic fly fishing as well as some beautiful scenery. A full time River Keeper manages the fishery and is on hand to offer advice and assistance.

Chatsworth Fishery currently has 84 members. Membership includes use of the fishery as well as exclusive use of a hut for a base for the day. 6 full day guest tickets are also included within the subscription. There is a waiting list for membership which can extend to two or three years. 

The Estate is keen to encourage prospective members to visit the fishery during the season so that they can meet the River Keeper and see the extent and quality of the fishing on offer. Please do not hesitate to contact the Fisheries Secretary at estate.office@chatsworth.org

Please note that we do not sell day tickets for the Chatsworth Fishery unless sold with participating accommodation establishments.
