Big Band Concert in the Garden
7 August
Big Band Concert in the Garden.
An informal evening of music in the garden.
The Phil Dando Big Band and Singers is a fifteen piece swing band which is now into its eighteenth year of touring Britain. Trumpeter Michael Blake has created a unique library for the band with exciting arrangements of music from the 1920s to the present day.
The concert here at Chatsworth will feature the classic sounds of Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey, Stan Kenton, Duke Ellington and more big band greats. Our vocalists will perform music from the Rat Pack library, Mack The Knife, Sway, Nice and Easy to name but a few. The vocal group augments the big band sound with tunes like "Don't Sit Under The Apple Tree", "Jeepers Creepers", and others.
Don't miss out on this wealth of popular music from years gone by.
Tickets are £15 per person and £20 from Saturday 7 August. Tickets will be available to buy at Chatsworth until the day of the concert, subject to availability.
Bookings of 30 people or more qualify for a 10% discount. For more information, please call our bookings office via our switchboard on 01246 565300.
