Categories of membership
Gold Friends of Chatsworth membership offers you free access to all attractions, free car parking at both car parks, tickets to some major events as well as the summer garden party. Friends of Chatsworth membership offers free admission to all attractions.
1. Gold Friends of Chatsworth membership -
from £105*
Including free admission to all attractions, free car parking at the house and at Calton Lees, tickets to some major events and the summer garden party (for the number of adults in your membership), and other special offers.
Gold Friends membership includes:
• A membership card for each member of your family on your membership (adults and children), giving access to the house, garden, farmyard and adventure playground, and free parking.
• You are welcome to add one further un-named guest entitlement to your membership. For flexibility, this extra admission entitlement will be valid on all named adult cards, but can only be used once per visit.
• A ticket per person for any one day of the International Horse Trials (i.e. Saturday OR Sunday).
• A ticket per adult member for the Friday of the Country Fair, and another ticket for any day of the Country Fair (i.e. Friday OR Saturday OR Sunday).
• A ticket per person for the Friends summer garden party. Gold Friends may purchase additional tickets.
• £3 off the price of an admission ticket (per vehicle) to the Bolton Abbey estate, North Yorkshire.
2. Silver Friends of Chatsworth membership -
from £70*
Including free admission to all attractions. This category of membership can be gift aided.
Silver Friends membership includes:
• A membership card for each named person on your form (adult and child), giving access to the house, garden, farmyard and adventure playground.
• You are welcome to add one further un-named adult guest entitlement to your membership. For flexibility, this extra admission entitlement will be valid on all named adult cards, but can only be used once per visit.
3. Car park vouchers
For the house and Calton Lees car parks:
• 20 car park vouchers in advance for £30 for the main house car park (when open) and Calton Lees.
* These car park tickets have no expiry date and do not need to be used within one season.
• 12 month car park season ticket for £50 for the main house car park (when open) and Calton Lees.
(Gold Friends membership includes free parking.)
Important information
Please spare a moment to read this, we've kept it as brief as we can.
Keep your membership card(s) somewhere safe. They last the lifetime of your membership with us and it makes things much easier for you when you renew. We'll happily replace them if you lose them, but there is usually a charge for doing so.
Membership is valid for entry on all open days over 12 months from when you join; we're open every day from mid March until 23 December and the farmyard and adventure playground are also open during February half term. Please note the farmyard and adventure playground are closed during the Country Fair, but you can still pop along to our farmyard stand at this event.
Don't forget you'll need to bring every Friend's membership card with you when you visit or you'll have to pay the full price.
Membership cards are not transferable. We cannot admit children under 14 without an accompanying adult (Friend of Chatsworth or paying visitor).
Unfortunately membership cards are not valid for school visits or education tours and activities.
We'll take a photograph of you for our membership records on our secure admission system. However, please be assured, we will only ever use this for purposes relating to your Friends admission.
Unfortunately, we cannot refund complimentary Garden Party, Horse Trials and Country Fair tickets, should the event(s) be completely or partially cancelled due to circumstance beyond our control.
Please note that if you buy an un-named adult or child entitlement, you may bring along one guest to Chatsworth per membership - not per adult card.
