Group visits

The house, garden, farmyard, gift shops and restaurants open on Sunday 14 March 2010, with fabulous new displays, restored rooms and our 'Celebrating Deborah Devonshire' exhibition. The 1000 acre park, the farm shop and its restaurant are open all year round.

We are so pleased that you are planning a visit to this beautiful place. Chatsworth was built to be enjoyed and shared, and today, no visitors are more welcome than the many groups that come from all over the world. A visit to Chatsworth offers you the chance to experience the very best of English art and architecture, history and landscape, food and hospitality.

We believe that Chatsworth's greatest attraction is that it has never stood still; on each visit you will find new things to see and do, as the collections grow, the seasons change and we offer more tours and talks for groups. There is a vibrant events programme though the year, offering something for every taste and interest, and from early November each year, we decorate selected rooms in the house to bring the magic of the Christmas story to life.
