Planning your school visit
We want to do everything we can to make sure you have a happy and successful visit to Chatsworth. All education visits must be pre booked and our education team will be happy to discuss your requirements before you complete the booking forms.

Pre-visits
All group leaders are positively encouraged to visit the house, garden, farmyard or park prior to their group visit, to plan their programme and to conduct a site risk assessment.

Important information for group leaders
We recommend you allow a full day for your visit, particularly if you are planning to book tours of the house, garden or the farmyard and want to allow time to explore the garden or park. There are also gift shops offering many items based on designs from the house and garden, the restaurant and food kiosks. You are welcome to picnic in the garden (subject to paying the appropriate admission charges), and in the 1000 acre park. Parking is free for pre-booked coaches and minibuses. Coach drivers are provided with a refreshments voucher and access to a rest room with television and newspapers. Drivers are welcome to enter the house and garden free of charge.
