Chatsworth is an endlessly varied and fascinating resource, providing unique opportunities for learning outside the classroom. Everyone who lives and works here enjoys sharing Chatsworth with young visitors.

Inside the house, our guides bring history to life and help groups of all ages discover the world-class collection of art and craftsmanship.

The garden is a wonderful place to explore an intriguing landscape, discover monumental sculpture or have a go at gardening with a garden guide.

The farmyard provides a fun and interactive introduction to key issues of food, farming and the many other activities taking place across the Estate.

A trailor tour is the perfect way to explore the park and Stand Wood, and learn about the landscape and the people responsible for maintaining it.

Our activities have been developed to help groups make the most of Chatsworth in a way that supports classroom teaching. We address a broad range of curriculum subjects from Foundation to 'A' level, and beyond into Higher and Further Education and vocational training. Click here for a summary of our activities or explore the options available in each area of the Estate.
