Discover a Magical Landscape at Chatsworth

Discover a Magical Landscape at Chatsworth

Visit Chatsworth this year and its magical 105-acre garden to get close to nature with a host of new Discovery days and a spectacular floral festival transforming the Derbyshire stately home inside and out.

Spring Florabundance will see more than 25,000 tulips and spring flowers used in traditional and modern displays to decorate the opulent rooms in the house as well as 16,000 de Jager tulip bulbs coming into flower around the maze in the garden for the festival taking place from 1 to 6 May.

Chatsworth is also giving you the opportunity to learn how to create breathtaking designs with spring flowers and bulbs with lots of contemporary and classic ideas for displaying flowers creatively at home. The floral demonstrations take place on 2, 4 and 6 May and are priced at £16.95 including house & garden entry.

Fancy getting hands-on in the garden with the expert Chatsworth team? Then the Spring Gardener Day on 12 May or Autumn Gardener Day on 2 October could be for you. Learn about maintaining the borders; sneak a peek behind the scenes and pick up some seasonal gardening advice. Green fingered children can join their parents on the Family Garden Discovery Day on 18 August to take part in composting, seed sowing and harvesting.

House, garden, farmyard and adventure playground, restaurants and gift shops are open every day from 14 March to 23 December 2010. The park is open every day during daylight hours. Visit www.chatsworth.org for more information.
