The Sabine Room newly opened
The beautiful Sabine Room and the Red Room West are two private rooms newly-open to visitors in 2009. The walls and ceiling of the Sabine Room are painted with 300 year old murals, the finishing touches to the 1st Duke of Devonshire’s great rebuilding project. The Red Room West contains pictures of the Cavendish family, ranging from centuries-old portraits to modern-day photographs.
