Duke's memoir

The 11th Duke of Devonshire's memoir, 'Accidents of Fortune' is now on sale, published by Michael Russell, and the book is available from the Chatsworth shops. The memoir, completed just before the Duke's death in May 2004, offers a series of vignettes looking back over his long life, from his wartime service, memories of the Kennedy family and political career to his love of collecting, racing and his homes at Chatsworth and Lismore Castle.
