Chatsworth for free

Every day of the year, the 1000 acre park, on the banks of the river Derwent, is open for free, for everyone to enjoy as they choose; walking, playing or picnicking. There is a car park at Calton Lees, just off the B6012, one mile south of Chatsworth house.

The Edensor post office and tea room is open throughout the year, the tea room in the village of Edensor serves lovely home-made lunches and teas, and excellent coffee. Ideal for anyone walking in the Park. Also a village shop and post office (different opening hours).
