2pm, 19 JULY, BEELEY VILLAGE HALL (BEELEY)

The Chatsworth House Trust (CHT) is looking to re-open Burntwood Quarry for 6 weeks each year to 2028 in order to provide stone for the restoration of Chatsworth House, a Grade I listed building.

CHT has therefore liaised with the Peak District National Park as the minerals planning authority, and is currently undertaking an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) of the development proposal.

CHT now wants local residents and others to see the draft proposal and discuss related issues.
Relevant site plans will be on display in Beeley Village Hall from 2-8pm, Thursday 19th July.  An officer from CHT will also be on hand to answer any questions arising.
