•  Groups are most welcome at Chatsworth. We pride ourselves on the services that we offer to group organisers and travel trade. Our group rates apply to groups of 15 or more.

•  Wander at your own pace around the magnificent rooms, hosting a fascinating and varied collection of art, furnishings and curiosities from around the world.

•  A day spent on one of the Country's most beautiful estates, enjoying the history and hospitality for which Chatsworth is famous. We recommend that you allow at least 4 hours to see all that Chatsworth has to offer.

•  This year we have revitalised the selection of special tours which are available to groups, with a more flexible range of options than ever before.

•  In 2008, we offer new displays of rare treasures in the house to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the death of ‘Bess of Hardwick', one of the great characters of Elizabethan England.

•  From the 1st August – 31 st October, Chatsworth will host a remarkable exhibition in the house to celebrate the release of the much anticipated film ‘The Duchess', which can be seen in cinema's from 5th September, starring Keira Knightley, Ralph Fiennes, Dominic Cooper and Charlotte Rampling. Partly filmed at Chatsworth, the film tells the extraordinary story of Duchess Georgiana, who was married to the 5th Duke of Devonshire. As well as the fascinating historical pieces on display, there are also costumes used during filming including some of the costumes worn by Keira Knightley. There is no charge to visit the exhibition beyond normal house and garden admission.

•  Our magical Christmas season begins on the 1st November, with a magical display inspired by Jan Pienkowksi's ‘The First Noel'.
