Accessibility
We have always prided ourselves on the welcome we offer all our visitors. In 2010, for the first time, we are able to offer full access to the main visitor route in the house for visitors using wheelchairs, via the new lift and improved access arrangements. Please do tell us your requirements in advance, as the number of wheelchairs in use on the top floor of this historic building has to be monitored for your safety and enjoyment. There is good access to the garden, farmyard, shops and restaurants; electric scooters can be borrowed for outside use and there are free buggies transporting visitors around the car park and stables area.
A free car park for Blue Badge holders is available at the front of the car park; visitors with restricted mobility may be dropped off at and collected from the main entrance.
We want to make sure your visit goes as smoothly as possible; call us on 01246 565300 to ensure you have the access support you need.
