Key Stage 1, 2 and 3
Art, Design & Technology
Allow 1.5 hours
Chatsworth is the perfect place to explore great art in a relaxed, open-air setting, with sculptures by Elisabeth Frink, Allen Jones, David Nash, Richard Long and more. Look out for Beyond Limits, Sotheby's famous sculpture exhibition, every autumn.
Land Management Trailer Tour
Key Stage 3
Science, Geography
Allow 1 hour
Discover the hidden areas of Chatsworth Park or Stand Wood on a tractor and trailer tour. Learn about the ongoing farming, forestry, moorland management and park maintenance from a member of estate staff. The garden is a wonderful place to explore without a guide and we often have printable trails available online. You are also welcome to visit us ahead of your group trip to plan your own activities.
Please Note: All tours are £2 extra per pupil in addition to the admission price. Good footwear and waterproof clothing are essential as there is no shelter in the garden.
