Wetton Barns

The peaceful village of Wetton, lies at the most westerly extent of the Chatsworth Estate's ownership and is situated in the heart of the stunning White Peak countryside.

Our six holiday cottages in Wetton were created from the sympathetic conversion of three traditional stone barns and now provide comfortable and cosy accommodation for 4-8 people. Outside, our guests have offroad parking, a communal garden and purpose-built barbecue area. Larkstone Barn has its own parking and garden area.

The proximity of both the Dove and Manifold valleys provides our guests with plenty of opportunity to explore the most scenic of Peak District landscapes, whilst the picturesque village of Hartington, only five miles away, has a range of shops and eateries. Alton Towers is less than half an hour's drive away.

All of our Wetton Barns cottages are designed with the demands of modern living in mind having well-equipped, fitted kitchens with fridges, washing machine/dryers and microwave ovens (Larkstone Barn and Thors Barn also have dishwashers). Living rooms have a woodburning stove, flat screen television, DVD and stereo system. All cottages are provided with a travel cot, high chair and information pack.

In brief, the accommodation provided by each of our units is set out below:

Thors Barn (sleeps 6)

Ground floor: Kitchen, open plan living/dining room, one twin bedroom and one bathroom.
First floor: One double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bathroom.

Larkstone Barn (sleeps 8)

Ground floor: Hall, open plan kitchen/dining room, living room, shower room and one twin bedroom.
First floor: One double bedroom, one twin bedroom, one bunk bedroom with adult sized bunk beds and one bathroom.

Hallows, Well, Yew Tree and Redhurst Cottages (sleeps 4)

Each Cottage comprises of
Ground floor: Open plan kitchen/dining/living room.
First floor: One double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one bathroom.
