The Devonshire Arms, Pilsley

Built circa 1700 The Devonshire Arms is the quintessential time-honoured English village Inn with oak beamed ceilings, thick stone walls and open fires.  Recently refurbished, these traditional values have remained at the centre of the design which has been overseen personally by the Duchess of Devonshire.

There are seven new bedrooms with the emphasis being on comfort.  Retaining historical features and with occasional antiques, the rooms are bright and cheerful with well equipped bathrooms. 

The Inn will be serving lunch and supper every day.

Lunch is served between Noon and 2:30pm

Dinner is served between 5pm and 9pm

The pub is open daily from 11am to 11pm, except on Sundays when we close at 10pm

When calling in for a drink or bite to eat you will find well kept local cask ales such as Peak Ales Chatsworth Gold and award-winning Thornbridge Jaipur.  And if you're a fan of the Chatsworth farm shop you'll love our food - delicious local dishes such as Pilsley Mixed Grill, Chatsworth Steak and Kidney Pudding, Belly Pork Bubble and Squeak, Home Cooked Fish Pie... and freshly made sandwiches.

A great location just a couple of miles from Chatsworth and five minutes' walk to the farm shop, it's the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Peak District.
