Are Dogs allowed in the garden?

A: Dogs are permitted in the garden and parkland when kept on a lead. We do not advise that you leave your dog in your car. Dogs are sadly not allowed in the house or farmyard and adventure playground, but there are posts to tie dogs up for a short time outside the farmyard.

 

Is Chatsworth a National Trust property?

A: Chatsworth is not part of the National Trust, so standard admission prices apply. Detail of prices can be found here.

 

When will the house and garden be open in 2013?

A: Chatsworth house and garden are open every day until 23 December 2013.

 

How long does it take to go around the house?

A: We recommend an hour and a half to be able to see everything in the house.

 

When is the last day for postal orders before Christmas?

A: The last day for postal orders from any of our shops is 15 December.

 

Does Chatsworth offer discount for carers?

A: We offer free admission to carers. If you should need any assistance, please contact our accessibility department on 01246 565 300.

 

Do you you offer a HM Forces discount?

A: We offer 2 for 1 entry to the house & garden as a special offer to HMS Forces. To take advantage of this offer, you will need to log on to www.rewardsforforces.co.uk and print out the Chatsworth voucher.

 

How do you get a trade stand?

Are bags, pushchairs or mobility scooters allowed in the house?

A: Unfortunately we cannot allow large bags, rucksacks, prams, pushchairs or mobility scooters into the house. We do offer a limited supply of alternative baby carrying equipment.

 

Is the Hudson's Heritage Explorer Pass accepted at Chatsworth?

A: Yes, we do accept the Hudson's Heritage Explorer Pass against our 'house and garden ticket'. The Hudson's Heritage Explorer Pass is not valid for groups of 10 people or more.


Is photography permitted at Chatsworth?

A: Photography is permitted for non-commercial and personal use. Wedding photography is exclusive to couples getting married at Chatsworth.

16 and over, and in full time education

Child
All our child tickets are aged 4 to 16 inclusive, children aged 3 and under are free. Except our farmyard child tickets which are 3 to 16 inclusive and children aged 2 and under are free

Is there an online shop?
