To ensure better viewing conditions, all groups planning to visit the house during our Christmas season must book a time slot in advance by calling 01246 565430

Please note
Christmas opening does not include the five State rooms on the top floor of the house, and the decorations are likely to obscure some works of art. There is also much less light in the rooms.

Different group rates apply to weekends in November and December.

Christmas for groups

Groups are most welcome during our Christmas season. From 9 November until the 23 December, Chatsworth will be magically transformed for our Christmas season.

During Christmas 2013, the lower floors of the house will be decorated in the theme of 'The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe at Chatsworth'.

Groups are most welcome during our Christmas season; however we do ask that groups book in advance and reserve a time slot for house admission to ensure better viewing conditions for your group.
