Get back to nature and discover the great outdoors at Chatsworth. We've got some incredible Discovery days taking place during 2010 where you can share an unforgettable outdoor experience. Whether you're learning how our expert garden team keep the grounds in first-class condition, planting seeds in our kitchen garden, or watching the famous Chatsworth water works, breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the magnificent grounds Chatsworth has to offer.

This day in the garden includes a hands-on session with our expert garden team where you will learn about the different methods we use to maintain the borders, as well as behind the scenes tours of our kitchen garden, glasshouses and new developments. The Spring Gardener day also focuses on the preparation of borders for annual and half-hardy plants to provide summer colour.

£55 per person

Please bring a garden fork, gloves and appropriate clothing e.g. waterproofs or sunhat. Day begins at 9.30am, and runs until approximately 3.45pm. Includes tea/coffee on arrival, a two course lunch with wine, a tea/coffee voucher, and free admittance to the house and/or garden on the day.
