Courtyard carvings

Come and meet one of our stone masons, Brad Steele, as he demonstrates and explains the work that is going in to cleaning, repairing and restoring Chatsworth house.

Brad will be talking to visitors throughout the day in the house courtyard, where the walls have recently been cleaned and restored.  He will reveal how the 300 year old stone carvings have been given a new lease of life...with a modern twist.

Free of charge in addition to house admission, within house opening hours.
