In the garden the kids can get active with big lawn games by the maze, building scarecrows and dens, our activity walks and special garden tours. Furthermore, you'll discover everything from water features and contemporary sculpture to learning the tricks of the trade at one of our daily garden talks.

At our farmyard and adventure playground, meet the animals and enjoy daily storytelling, craft activities, trailer rides and milking demonstrations. And whether it's sliding, digging, scrambling or climbing there's all kinds of excitement to find in the adventure playground.

Explore the house where you can dress up, discover secrets and listen to stories that will excite everyone's imagination. Or seek out a wealth of fascinating history, art and treasures on our special trails and tours.

It isn't all about the kids and there is lots going on to appeal to people of all ages. Enjoy our free introductory talks, new galleries and Deborah Devonshire exhibition in the house. Or treat yourself with Afternoon Tea and shopping in the Stables. Whether you're an old friend or visiting us for the first time you're bound to find something you'll enjoy this summer.
