Textile workshops and Taster days

Why not join us for a Textile workshop or Taster day in the Victorian theatre at Chatsworth? The unique setting of the theatre, built by the 7th Duke, and the magical charm of Chatsworth cannot fail to inspire. This year, alongside the teaching we are also bringing out treasures from our textile archive to give you that added insight and inspiration.

The workshops are designed for all abilities and combine demonstrations and tuition with top tips and advice from members of our highly skilled Textile Department. If you are unsure of which workshop to choose, try a Taster day. These are a new addition this year and designed to offer a taste of the techniques you could develop later in the year at a Textile workshop.

Our aim is to have fun with other like minded people, to stimulate, inspire or encourage those of you that have creative flair but have always been afraid to have a go.
