Monsal fishery

The top beat of the Monsal Dale Fishery offers 3/4 of a mile of double bank fly-fishing on the Derbyshire Wye. Set within the heart of the Peak District National Park, Monsal Dale is widely acclaimed as an area of exceptional beauty.

The river is famous for its unique strain of breeding rainbow trout, as well as a good head of wild and stocked brown trout. There is an abundance of
natural fly life, including various olives, sedges and mayfly, supplemented by many terrestrial species from the surrounding meadows.
