Events Site Co-ordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an events site co-ordinator to take responsibility for the co-ordination of the infrastructure required for public events at Chatsworth - based in the park, the gardens and the House. Including the installation, take down and safety.
This is an interesting and varied role and you will work closely with third party event providers, ensuring on the ground, safe and smooth delivery of a wide variety of events including: the Christmas markets, bonfire event, outdoor musical events and indoor theatre events.
You will also play a supporting role at the larger Chatsworth events – the Country Fair and the Horse Trials.
Given the complexity of some of these events, you must be a logical thinker and competent project co-ordinator with some experience of the technical issues surrounding on-site delivery.
You should be financially astute with the ability to proactively monitor staff costs, source suppliers and negotiate fees; providing analysis spread sheets.
You will also be a diplomat; able to liaise effectively with both internal and external contacts, providing a seamless delivery.
A qualification in event health and safety is an advantage.
