Works on paper can include watercolours, drawings, prints and some photographs. During the cataloguing process, information such as artist, date, size, medium and provenance was recorded, and photographs taken of each object.

These images are useful as a record of the condition of the work, and also make it easier to find and visually identify objects on our Collections Management database. This can be particularly useful for our curators when planning for an exhibition and carrying out research into our collections.
