A Man for all Seasons
A Man for all Seasons was written by Robert Bolt in 1954. It was performed to great acclaim in London and on Broadway, before being made into the multi-academy-award-winning film in 1996, starring one of the British all-time greats, Paul Scofield.
Set in one of our country's most infamous periods in history, with King Henry VIII in peril of losing his very soul, believing that he had brought the wrath of God on his head by marrying his brother's widow. He wanted to divorce her and marry again...
A Man for all Seasons will be performed at the Chatsworth Theatre. A pre-theatre black tie dinner is also available at the Carriage House restaurant.
