Visitors this week may have noticed the walls in the Carriage House restaurant have changed colour. The bright pink that was once the source of many a debate by people eating in the Carriage House has been toned down to a calming neutral stone colour. The matching carpet has also been replaced to reflect the new tone. The new colours have been chosen by the Duchess, for a new, fresh look ready for summer. The tables and chairs will also be replaced next week. The most exciting part of all this change is the new glass-roofed eating area, which will create more places to sit, in a bright atmosphere.

The new summer look is accompanied by new menus in the Carriage House Restaurant and Cavendish Rooms, so make sure you come and try our new dishes. This afternoon there will be a Slide Jazz Band performing in the Stables courtyard – perfect to accompany the summer themes.
