Funk and soul classics from Craig Charles and special guests Lemar, Mica Paris, Roachford and James Junior join a line up of musical and theatre performances taking place at Chatsworth this summer. DJ and festival regular Craig Charles will be hosting an ultimate night of funk and soul on 15 July, which will be followed by an evening of classic favourites at The Proms Spectacular on 16 July and Shakespeare’s sparkling battle-of-the-sexes comedy, Much Ado About Nothing on 10 August.

Craig Charles Funk & Soul Live
15 July 2016
The ultimate funk and soul party comes to Chatsworth on 15 July as BBC 6 Music brings the most popular show on the network to the garden. Craig Charles Funk & Soul Live will feature the legendary actor, host and broadcaster presenting a number of special guest artists, all performing the greatest funk and soul songs of all time, backed by the incredible Fantasy Funk Band. A regular at festivals across the UK, Craig will be joined by special guests including Lemar, Mica Paris, Roachford and James Junior. They will be performing songs including Superstition, Move On Up, Papa Was A Rolling Stone, Got To Give It Up, and many more. 

Tickets can be purchased at £35 per adult and £25 per child. Online booking will be available until 13 July 2016, after which tickets will be available onsite, and at the entrance to the concert (subject to availability). Refreshments will be available on the night.

Proms Spectacular
16 July 2016
The Proms Spectacular returns to Chatsworth for another evening of stunning classical favourites including Tchaikovsky’s 1812 Overture, Brahms’ Hungarian Dance and many more; together with all the favourites associated with The Last Night Of The Proms. Tenor John Pierce and soprano Janet Mooney return, performing arias including Nessun Dorma, O Mio Babbino Caro and more, and popular conductor Jae Alexander, now a firm favourite at Chatsworth, returns as conductor with the superb UK Philharmonic Orchestra. 

Tickets can be purchased at £28 per adult and £20 per child. Online booking will be available until 13 July 2016, after which tickets will be available onsite, and at the entrance to the concert (subject to availability). Refreshments will be available on the night.

Much Ado About Nothing 
10 August 2016
In the year that marks the 400th anniversary of William Shakespeare’s death, join The Lord Chamberlain’s Men this summer for Shakespeare’s sparkling, battle-of-the-sexes comedy, Much Ado About Nothing. Performed in the open air by an all male cast with Elizabethan costume, music and dance, spend a glorious summer’s evening watching this funny, moving and fast-paced production of one of Shakespeare’s best loved comedies. 

Tickets can be purchased at £16 per adult and £12 per child. Online booking will be available until 9 August 2016, after which tickets will be available on site, and at the entrance to the concert. Refreshments will be available on the night.
