Peak Ales’ royal wedding special ale, “Royaly Brewtiful”, has proved a great success with nearly 3,000 pints of beer sold to help toast the happy couple. Talented Pilsley CofE Primary School pupils Mathew Greaves and Isabel Stewart came up with the name for the beer and the design for the pump clip respectively. Both pupils won a £15 HMV voucher and had their work displayed around the estate and in the local pubs that stocked the beer. Peak Ales don’t do many special beers but this was such an historic occasion it was appropriate to celebrate it with a totally new beer. Good luck, William and Catherine.
