The spring flowers are blooming outside the shop now, braving the slight frosts we have had. The fields are filling up with the young lambs that are causing mischief by climbing through the fences next to the shop. The best part is the view from our restaurant which grows greener every day.


During our quieter months (January to March) while the house is closed, we spend time reviewing products and adding new lines ready for the peak season. We have several new products in stock including a new range of luxury fudge (try the lemon meringue flavour) and a new range of gourmet liquorice, which has quickly become a favourite in the office.


A few new stands have also popped up over the last few months. Just this week, a new fish freezer was installed; offering a new range of frozen fish such as king prawns, fish goujons and salmon tartlets. Also a bespoke bread-stand has been built to showcase our bakery’s bread range, including our new artisan breads.
