Chatsworth have partnered with DART Training to offer a new and exciting traineeship program, offering the unique opportunity to support and maintain the beautiful 105 acre historic gardens on the Chatsworth Estate.
Chatsworth, home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, has been passed down through sixteen generations of the Cavendish family. Its large grounds have evolved over 450 years, with each generation adding their own style and new features.
Working outside, as part of a small team, you will assist across the Estate Gardens, developing a wide range of work based skills including team work, general employability, functional skills and basic horticultural knowledge, all whilst working practically, and contributing to a friendly, passionate and hardworking team environment.
To be eligible for this 24 week Traineeship programme, you must be 16– 24 years old, not in employment, education or training, and be interested in horticulture, gardens, and developing and maintaining landscapes.
Two days per week - £7 per day bursary
To apply to be a part of this unique traineeship programme, visit the DART website for instructions on the next step.
