Open your mind and classroom door to discover the possibilities of learning outdoors. In this engaging and interactive workshop you will be introduced to some new (and easy to replicate) approaches to taking the indoors outside!
What to expect on the day
- Share ideas and enthusiasm with other teachers and get into inspired planning of your own, based around what you can find in your school grounds.
- Improve your own horticultural understanding and discover how growing topics can be cross curricular and incorporate key skills in core subjects.
- Based on some of our recommended plants, begin to utilise the power of your school grounds as a resource and explore creative Maths and English experiences that will inspire and have a positive impact on learning.
£95 per person or £170 if you book two separate courses or two places on the same course
Suitable for teachers, teaching assistants and volunteers working within a primary or SEND setting, with little or no previous experience of growing and horticulture.
