The Golden Gates Caravan Site offers a welcoming base with all the essentials you need to enjoy a long weekend at one of the country’s most spectacular outdoor events.

The caravan site will be open from 9am Thursday 3 September to midday Monday 7 September 2026.
- 3-night stay (Thurs, Fri & Sat): £120
- 4-night stay (Thurs, Fri, Sat & Sun): £145
- Optional electric hook-up: £100 per pitch
Pitches are available for caravans and motorhomes with their own on-board facilities only.
Tents are not permitted.
Please note that tickets to the Chatsworth Country Fair are not included in the above prices, and must be added during the booking process.

Site Information
To help everyone enjoy their stay, please be aware of the following:
- Each pitch is for one sleeping unit only (caravan or motorhome).
- Some areas of the site may require levelling blocks – please bring your own.
- Dogs are welcome in the park and at the fair, but must be kept on a lead at all times.
- Petrol generators may be used, but only between 08:00 and 21:00.
Caravan prices are subject to change.
On arrival you will be met by our Caravan Manager who will be available to assist and to answer any questions you may have.

Weather permitting, watch a mass ascent of hot air balloons taking off from across the estate.

Watch some of the nation's favourite chefs showcase their talents, and pick up tips from the region's best local talent. Then wander through the fine food village to sample and buy high quality produce from local makers.

There is so much to see and do around the showground, from classic cars and country pursuits to rural crafts, such as dry stone walling, angling, and archery. It's easy to keep every member of your group interested, including your four-legged friends!
Vintage Fun Fair
A favourite with the young, and young at heart; experience a traditional carousel, big wheel, a helter-skelter, dodgems, plus fairground games such as hook and duck, and more.
