Join a member of our expert gardening team for a 1 hour walking tour to gain a practical insight into how to create and manage a garden.
There will be plenty of opportunity to ask practical questions and get hints and tips for your own garden.
Your ticket includes Chatsworth Garden entry for you to explore at your own pace after the tour.
3 July & 25 September | Production Garden
Join the Chatsworth Garden team for a fascinating glimpse into the workings of the Production Garden, including the wide variety of plants that are grown to be used across the estate including fruit, veg and flowers.
This is a shorter, slower tour of the Chatsworth Production Garden designed for our visitors with limited mobility. We will avoid steps but there will be some inclines when reaching the Production Garden entrance.
8 May & 14 August | Rock Garden
Learn about the history of the garden along with some practical aspects of gardening with the Chatsworth Garden team. This tour will be led by members of the ornamental garden team who will offer insights into practical gardening skills whilst exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Rock Garden.
This garden tour is designed for individuals with limited mobility. The route is step-free, with a few gentle inclines, and the pace will be slow to ensure a comfortable experience.
Accessibility
This tour takes place in the Chatsworth Gardens. Lightweight folding stools will be provided. This tour is suitable for wheelchairs and people who would like to explore at a slower pace. Please dress appropriately for the weather. If you have questions about accessibility or require an essential carer ticket, please email [email protected].
