Pianist Lisa Timbs will be playing music from the Regency era in the house at various times during the day.
Dressing up - Regency style
Don bonnets, breeches and cravats for a photo opp in the garden, available all day.
Pop up Austen - Chatsworth Players
Local amateur dramatic group, The Chatsworth Players, will be staging pop-up performances of scenes from Austen novels in the house and garden throughout the day.
There will also be a selection of garden games popular in the Regency period on the lawns.

'Austen: Lost & Found' - The Natural Theatre Company
A story that Jane Austen didn't write (but could have done) is brought to life in this comedic promenade performance taking place in the garden.
On the 250th anniversary of her birth, another 'lost' Jane Austen novel has been unearthed at Pemberley. Meddling Mrs Bentley is seeking husbands for her spinster daughters, and the audience is invited to get involved and help them secure an advantageous marriage. Expect some recognisable plotlines, familiar characters and just a little bit of nonsense as you immerse yourself in wooing, weeping and wagers as this joyful story comes to life around you.
There will also be a selection of garden games popular in the Regency period on the lawns.

Professor John Mullan holds the Lord Northcliffe Chair of Modern English Literature at University College, London. He is a specialist in eighteenth-century literature.
