The workshop takes place in the Green Satin Room in the house.
Led by expert costumier, Sylvia Spilsbury of Bath Theatrical Costume Hire, this hands-on workshop provides the opportunity to create your own Regency period bonnet or hat.
All materials will be provided, with a choice of fabrics and trimmings to personalise your design.
House and garden access
Your workshop tickets include house and garden entry on the day of your visit.
Meeting point and time
Please meet at the house entrance gates at 9.45am, where you will be escorted to the Green Satin Room for a prompt start at 10am.
Accessibility
The Green Satin Room is located on the visitor route on the upper floors of the house.
There is a lift in the house, allowing access to the entire visitor route for visitors with restricted mobility. Please note that during busy periods, there may be a short wait to use the lift.
Mobility scooters cannot be used inside the house; however, other manual wheelchairs and wheeled walkers may be used.
Carers are welcome, but if they would like to take part in the workshop, they will need to purchase a full-price workshop ticket.

Important information
There are no toilet facilities in the house. The nearest facilities are to the left of the house entrance.
Please do not bring food or drink into the house. Large bags should be checked into our left luggage area.
