The Devonshire Collections and the house and gardens at Chatsworth have been built up by 16 generations of the Cavendish family, each adding their own acquisitions and designs according to personal taste and the fashions of the time.
The Duke and Duchess of Devonshire will share with you reflections on what each of these generations might have regard as contemporary, the contribution of their parents to their personal tastes, their own new additions to the house and Collections, and plans for the future at Chatsworth.
