October Menu

Enjoy a six course meal using seasonal produce, cooked by our Head Chef, Rob Allen. Joining us for the evening will be Stuart Bond, sommelier at the Cavendish hotel in Baslow and wine writer for Derbyshire life. 

 

Pheasant roulade wrapped in streaky bacon and savoy cabbage; celeriac croquette, fig chutney and deep fried sage leaves

Pan fried wood pigeon breast, a medley of stir-fried vegetables and blackberry teriyaki

Venison slider with onion chutney, Devonshire Gold cheese and cornichons on a nest of shoestring fries

Rabbit pie with black garlic pomme purée, star anise-infused rainbow carrots and wholegrain mustard cream sauce

Wild boar fillet ragu, roasted heritage tomatoes, pappardelle pasta and parmesan crisps

Dessert

Dark chocolate mille-feuille, black cherry chocolate macaron and Bullion chocolate ice cream
