Enjoy a farmyard tour, learn about our sheep and farming, and care for sheep and lambs.

About the experience

Join our farmyard team as they prepare for our lambing season, enjoy a tour of the farmyard, learn about our different sheep breeds and farming on the Chatsworth Estate. Help us to care for our lambs and carry out sheep checks. You may even witness the birth of some lambs, although live births aren't guaranteed.

Important information

Not suitable if you are pregnant, or for children under the age of 12. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please dress appropriately. We recommend sturdy footwear, sun cream, layers and a waterproof coat.

Meeting point

Please meet at the Farmyard entrance 15 minutes before your session start time. 

Accessibility

These events take place at the Chatsworth Farmyard which is an accessible venue. There will be periods of standing, inclines and uneven ground. If you have any questions about accessibility or require a carer's ticket, please email [email protected].
