Event details
£65 per person | 9.30am to 2pm
Begin the day with refreshments in the Flying Childers restaurant followed by an exclusive tour featuring areas of the house which were previously used by servants, including the old kitchen, now a joiner's workshop, beer cellar, confectionery, attics and more. These spaces are not part of the normal visitor route, so along with illustrated commentary visitors will be asked to imagine how these spaces would have appeared in previous centuries.
The day includes a delectable two-course lunch in Flying Childers and the afternoon free for you to explore the house and garden at your leisure.
The price includes lunch, as well as entry to the house and garden on the day.
Please be aware that this tour will include a lot of stairs, often long and twisting.
