Study Room Details

The Devonshire Collections cared for by Chatsworth House Trust are internationally renowned and are used by researchers from across the world.

This space houses our Collections Study Room, which accommodates researchers and volunteers working on collections-based projects. It also provides a venue for sharing stories and insights from the collections through a programme of collection-focused tours and talks. This forms part of the charity’s commitment to sharing Chatsworth’s incredible heritage in order to inspire, engage, and welcome everyone.

Access to the Archives and Library, and to the Fine Arts & Decorative Arts Collection in our Study Room is free.

Visit the Art & Archives web pages to find out more about these collections and how to book a visit to the Study Room.
