Membership types

Ordinary
If you are an employee or tenant on the estate you are entitled to join as an Ordinary member. Single, couple and family memberships are available which includes the Cavendish Club.

Associate
If you are not an employee or tenant of the estate but live within our catchment area you can apply for Associate membership. Membership is limited and a waiting list may be in operation. Membership of the gymnasium, swimming pool or tennis club includes the Cavendish Club.

Country
This membership category is only available to those whose permanent address is outside the surrounding catchment area and have either a holiday home / temporary address in Derbyshire spending less than three months a year in the area. Membership is only available on an annual basis and excludes the Cavendish Club.

Student
Applicants must live within the catchment area and be in full-time education at a local school or college (proof will be required). Student membership excludes the Cavendish Club.

University
This membership is suited to those who are aged 18+ and are in full time education (proof will be required). Please note if you are studying at the universities of Derby, Sheffield or any other university, i.e Open University, where your primary residence for the majority of the academic year is in Derbyshire, you are not entitled to join as a University member. Membership is only available on an annual basis and excludes the Cavendish Club.
