Tickets and Bookings

1. When will tickets from online bookings be sent out?

When you booked your tickets, you were sent a booking confirmation, which includes a QR code. You will need to show this QR code, plus any membership cards or passes, on entry.

If you have booked more than one car parking ticket, please share the booking confirmation with the other driver. Each car on your order must have a copy of the booking confirmation.

If you have lost your booking confirmation, please contact us.

2. Does my ticket include admission to the house or garden during the day?

Entry to the house or garden during the day is not included unless it is stipulated in the event description. If you are unsure, please contact us to check.

You can buy day tickets to the garden.

3. Do children pay for tickets?

Please see the event page for details of children's tickets.

4. What happens if I change my plans/am ill/have travel issues? Can I get a refund?

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Chatsworth cannot be held responsible for delays caused by travel companies, and other issues outside of our control. If you are travelling a long distance, why not stay overnight in the local area?

5. Is there discount for groups?

There are no group discounts for outdoor events.

6. What's the last day for booking tickets online?

Online booking is usually available until 2pm on the day of the show.

If tickets are still available, you will be able to buy them on site at entry points. These are subject to availability. You will also need to purchase a separate car park ticket on entry.

Pre-booked tickets include free parking for one vehicle per transaction.

7. What time do the performances start?

Please visit the event page to see event timings.

Weather

8. Will the show still take place if the weather is poor?

Our outdoor events take place in all weathers, so please come prepared for all weather conditions.

In extreme weather conditions, such as severe gales, we reserve the right to close off sections of the garden and estate, or cancel/change planned entertainment for the safety of visitors and staff.

Please be aware that for technical, operational or safety reasons, some facilities may be removed or closed, or entertainment and event timetables cancelled and/or altered at any time, including at short notice.

Chatsworth reserves the right to change the programme of attractions and entertainment if, at any time, it is deemed necessary or appropriate to do so; this may also include closing attractions or areas of the estate. We apologise in advance for any disappointment caused should this need arise.

Food, Drink and Shopping

9. What refreshments are available?

Flora's Temple Tearooms will usually open late for evening events, offering sandwiches, hot pasties, hot and cold drinks, snacks, and alcohol. We often have pop-up catering carts located around the event area.

We recommend checking the event page and our opening times.

Parking and Travel

10. Where is the nearest car park?

Ticketholders may park in the main Chatsworth car park on site. Depending on the event, you may also be parked in an allocated area in the parkland.

One parking space is included with each transaction. Additional car parking spaces can be added to your online order when you purchase your festival tickets.

Please note that we do not allow overnight parking in our car park. The car park closes 30 minutes after an event has finished.

Adventure Cinema - July 2026

All traffic will enter and exit from the A619 Baslow via the Golden Gates, and park in an event car park located close to the pop-up cinema.

Please do not park in the main house car park for this event, as the main car park will close at 6pm.

11. Do I have to pay for parking?

One parking space is included with each transaction. Additional car parking spaces can be added to your online order at £10 per space.

If you are attending in a group and travelling in separate cars, consider booking your tickets separately to take advantage of the complimentary car park ticket offer.

12. Is there Blue Badge parking?

We have a designated Blue Badge parking area for registered Blue Badge holders. To use this service, you must select a Blue Badge parking space when booking your tickets online.

Please be aware that these spaces are limited and allocated first to those who pre-book.

A Blue Badge does not guarantee access to this area. If the Blue Badge parking area is full, our parking team will do their best to park you in the next available space closest to the house and garden entrances.

When you arrive, please make your Blue Badge visible so our parking team can direct you appropriately. Additionally, remember to keep your Blue Badge on your dashboard while parked at Chatsworth.

13. Is there parent and child parking?

There are no parent and child parking bays at Chatsworth.

14. Are there any EV charging points?

There are no electric vehicle charge points at Chatsworth, for the nearest points please consult an online guide, such as Zap-Map

15. I am attending an evening event. Where can I get a bus/taxi?

Links to local bus services stopping at Chatsworth can be found here. Please note that these services are all offered by third parties and Chatsworth is not responsible for their frequency or operation. Please do your own research and bear in mind that they may not run in the evenings.

There is no taxi rank at Chatsworth, and mobile reception and wifi can be unreliable.  If you are travelling by taxi, we strongly recommend that you pre-book your return journey.  The usual drop-off and collection point is outside the Lodge, located next to the house gates. As we are located some way from main roads and street lighting, we recommend that you have access to a torch.

Adventure Cinema - July 2026

All event traffic for this event will enter and exit through the 'Golden Gates' off the A619 - this is the furthest point from the house and main car park.

There is a taxi drop-off area inside the Golden Gates entrance. We recommend you pre-book a return trip, as there are no taxi ranks in the local vicinity.

There are bus stops located in Baslow for routes including the X66, 66, 257, 218, and 170. Please check directly with the service operators on pick up/drop off locations and timetables. This is a useful starting point for researching services.
