How it works

  • Select a weekend date to visit the market from those listed above.
  • Select a bus time to travel to Chatsworth. The time you travel to Chatsworth dictates the time of the bus you must catch for your return journey to Rowsley South Station, e.g. if you catch the 9.15am bus to Chatsworth, you must catch the 2.15pm bus back to Rowsley.
  • Book the number of seats required. Every passenger travelling must have a ticket, including children.
  • Arrive at Rowsley South Station on the day of your visit. We recommend allowing at least 10 minutes before your allocated bus is due to depart to park up. Parking at Rowsley South Station is free of charge with a park and ride ticket valid for the same day.
  • Follow signage to the park and ride stop at Rowsley South Station and show your park and ride tickets to a member of staff.
  • Your bus will drop you at the house car park, next to the Christmas market. You will catch your return bus from the same location.
  • At your designated time, catch the return shuttle bus from Chatsworth to Rowsley South Station. Please have your ticket ready to show staff manning the park and ride stop. Arrive in good time to catch your bus; buses will not wait.

Important information:

If you arrive after your bus has departed, the staff will make every effort to accommodate you on the next available bus; however, this cannot be guaranteed. If you miss your bus, for whatever reason, you will need to organise your own transport to Chatsworth/Rowsley South Station. No refunds will be given.

Children on the bus

All passengers, including children, must purchase a ticket for the bus and be seated at all times.

Seats are fitted with seatbelts and will accommodate a passenger's own car seat with seatbelt closures (non-isofix). Child car seats are not provided.

For more information on travelling with children in car seats, view the Government guidelines.

Dogs

Unfortunately, dogs of any size are not permitted on the park and ride shuttle bus.

Accessibility

Unfortunately, the park and ride shuttle bus is not wheelchair accessible.

The bus has a low entrance step, which is close to ground level. There are then a few steps, with handrails, that lead up to the seating area.

If you have any further accessibility questions regarding the park and ride service, please email [email protected]
