Wednesday 29 November | 9.30am to 3.30pm
£115 per person
Includes house and garden entry
Join artist, teacher and maker Liz Wellby to create a range of beautiful, handcrafted Christmas decorations. Liz will guide you through a number of processes enabling you to create a range of hanging and freestanding pieces, with a distinctly bird inspired theme.
You’ll learn how to craft fine, flexible wire and vintage papers, to create unique pieces that will grace your home at Christmas.
Following the workshop you can also enjoy visiting Christmas at Chatsworth, with house entry at 3.45pm.
The day also includes tea, coffee and a delicious, locally sourced graze box lunch provided by the Chatsworth Estate Farm Shop.
All materials and equipment will be provided, but participants may choose to personalise their decorations and bring along an old hard backed book or a children’s annual to upcycle. You may also wish to bring along a couple of used corks or old wooden cotton reels.
The workshop is suitable for both beginners and more experienced makers. Meet at 9.20am at the top garden gates (near the Stables) ready for a 9.30am start.
