Create and bind your own A5 hardback notebook in this expert-led workshop.
About the session
In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn how to bind and cover your very own A5 notebook, using the French Sewn method. Under expert-guidance by paper artist Kim Bevan, you will be led step-by-step through the construction process of bookbinding.
This workshop is specifically designed for beginners, as you will receive friendly guidance throughout the session.

All materials will be provided on the day.
Refreshments
Tea and coffee will be provided.
We will break for lunch, so please bring a packed lunch. The Carriage House Café will be open for hot meals, soup, and sandwiches.
Meeting point
Please meet at 9.50am at the top garden gate next to the Stables for a prompt start at 10am.

About the artist
Paperbased is run by Kim Bevan, an artist and teacher who provides workshops for all ages here at Chatsworth, and in her studio in Sheffield.
In her own practice, she explores 3D folding techniques within books, along with creating artwork using paper cutting and printmaking.
