Join us in the farmyard to learn more about how to care for pigs. Whether you're interested in keeping your own or would like to discover more about looking after these farmyard favourites, our keeping pigs experience makes an interesting and educational day out with a difference.
This session includes a picnic lunch from our estate farm shop and is suitable for anyone aged 16 and over.
Each of our keeper days will cover:
- What you need to get started
- Animal breeds to suit your needs
- Feeding and housing
- Basic health care
- Breeding
- Costs involved in keeping
- Regulations and documentation required
