Paper magic - a children's Christmas workshop with Paperbased
Saturday 9 December
Saturday 16 December
10am to 12pm and 1pm to 3pm
£7 per child | £2.50 per adult
All children must be accompanied by an adult. Max 1 adult per child.
Have fun creating a range of Christmas themed paper decorations, such as paper wreaths, a concertina Father Christmas and a traditional Swedish hanging decoration, called a Himmeli, perfect to take home and display.
Suitable for children ages 4+. Children must be able to use scissors and glue. Workshops involve cutting, folding and glueing that may require adult assistance during the workshop.
Sessions will take place in the Old Potting Shed in the garden. Please park in the main car park - parking is included with your ticket - before meeting a member of the learning team at the top garden entrance next to the Stables 5 minutes before the session starts. Please have your booking confirmation ready.
This event doesn't include access to the garden. To make a day of it, you can book Christmas tickets on the same day.
Please email education@chatsworth.org if you have any questions about accessibility or individual needs.
About Paperbased
This workshop is led by Paperbased, our experienced paper artist Kim Bevan. She provides workshops for all ages here at Chatsworth and at her studio. In her own practice she makes artist books that explore 3D sculptural folding techniques and creates artwork using paper cutting and printmaking processes.
